Mechanical Mezzanine Lift for a Georgia Healthcare Manufacturer
Forklifts Off the Mezzanine.
Forklifts at the Edge?
What We Installed
A mechanical PFlow mezzanine lift rated to 6,000 lbs, with a carriage sized for the customer's pallet loads, a vertical rise set to the mezzanine, safety gates and a full enclosure, built to ASME B20.1.
How the Project Came Together
From Challenge to Solution
See how each project came together, from the initial need and installation process to the finished result.
The Problem
Pallets had to get from the floor to a mezzanine storage level. Forklifts were doing it. That put forklifts working at the mezzanine edge, added traffic to a busy warehouse floor, and slowed every move between levels.
How It Went In
The space was tight and the deadline was short. We handled the whole installation, including pulling the permits, coordinating the inspections and securing official approval, while the warehouse kept running.
The Result
Forklifts no longer serve the mezzanine. Floor congestion dropped, the forklift risk at the mezzanine edge went away, and moves between floors became faster and more predictable.
