Fall Arrest Systems

A Fall Arrest System is an active means of protecting workers from falls in elevated work environments.  A complete personal fall arrest system includes a fall protection anchor system, a body harness, and a connector - such as a shock-absorbing fall arrest lanyard or a self-retracting lifeline (SRL).

A complete Fall Arrest system, using Gorbel's Tether Track™ as your anchor, provides a worker with a high degree of mobility and freedom to perform a task while preventing falls to lower levels.

Gorbel Tether Track

  • Exceed OSHA 1926 Subpart M Construction standard and ANSI Z359 Fall Protection Code
  • Feature an enclosed track design that is engineered for easy movement. 
  • Support the full impact of falls vertically and also at a 30º angle 
  • Use cold rolled steel track keeps dirt and dust from settling on the rolling surface, giving you smooth and consistent ease of movement
  • Feature a running flange with a 2º taper to keep the fall prevention trolley centered.  This allows the trolley and lanyard to easily follow the worker, rather than forcing them to pull free a trolley that has become stuck.
